The Neighborhood Preservation Program (NPP) is a 5-year grant from the NJ Department of Community Affairs. The City of Millville is in the 4th year of the grant cycle. HCDC partners with the City of Millville on several aspects on NPP.

 

The NPP District: The tan area represents the NPP District. Businesses with in the district are eligible to apply for NPP resources. 

 

The 2024 NPP Implementation Plan includes the following business elements.

Gift Card Program – Matching gift card program allows residents purchase gift cards to local businesses located within the NPP district. NPP program funding will be used to double the value of the gift card.

Commercial Rehab Program – The commercial façade/rehab program allows business and building owners in the downtown to make improvements to the exterior of their buildings/businesses.

​

Small Business Assistance – Training programs related to marketing and small business development to businesses in the downtown.
