One element of the plan that is currently underway is the Little Libraries Project. A group of Center City youth have developed an action plan to install 10 Little Libraries throughout the neighborhood over the course of the next 12 months. They are currently working on the design and painting of the first Little Library that will be installed in the Wildlife Garden on 3rd Street later this summer. The Little Libraries Project is being implemented through funding from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation’s New Jersey Healthy Initiatives grant in the amount of $6,350.
